OSL Junior Youth Group
I would like to start having meetings with the Middle School or Junior High kids (ages 9 to 12 or grades 5th through 8th) in addition to the meetings with the high schoolers. The meetings would take place after the regular Youth Group (13 to 20 year olds') Sunday meetings --provided there is enough interest.

I will put a sign up sheet on the main bulletin board.

Annual Calendar Sale
This year, back by popular demand, the Youth Group and some of the Sunday School kids will be selling 2012 Christian Calendars after Church on Sundays from now until they are all gone. We have beautiful wall calendar for just $7 each and purse calendars for $5 each. Please show your support of our youth by buying a 2012 Calendar today. Contact Angel Roberts for more information.

Pop Cans 4 Cash
The Youth Group is still collecting pop cans to raise funds for upcoming events. If you don't want to lug a bag of cans to church with you, we will come to your house and pick them up. This will be an on-going fund-raiser.

Our Next Big Adventure
If you will be entering the 9th grade of just graduating from high school by July of 2013, you need to start planning and saving NOW for the LCMS National Youth Gathering in San Antonio, Texas.

I would like to see 100 percent participation by all eligible Our Savior members. An informational teen and parent meeting will be scheduled soon.

The Children's Message
There will be a special service to proclaim the "Christmas Story" on the morning of Sunday, December 11, 2011. This year, as in years past, the production 'The Unexpected Guest' will involve children of all ages and will be directed by our teens. Don't miss it! Hope to see you all there.

Youth Group
The Youth Group (ages 13 to 20) use to meet the third Sunday of every month (right after service at around 11:45 a.m.). We have not been able to meet for a few months due to busy schedules and conflicting events. I would like to start having meetings again at least once a month. Youth and parents please call, email, or text me your preferences for meeting days at times.

Friends of Youth Group members are always welcome to join us at church, youth group meetings and youth group events.

Choir & Music
The Our Savior Choir meets every Thursday at 5:30 p.m. for rehearsals.

New singers and musicians are always welcome to join the group. That includes children and teens.
