Bricks and Steps Project

On November 10, 1926, our congregation was founded to serve the Lord as His Church. Our original building on Carpenter Road was out grown and in 1948 we dedicated our present building to God to serve Him in this place.

We ask for God's blessing on our place of worship and on His people at Our Savior. We thank all those who are now serving in the Lord's work here, and have served Him in the years past in His name and for His cause.

We’ve been a part of this neighborhood for over 80 years, and we will continue to be a part of Flint, but we need your help. We need your help to repair our building, to make it structurally sound and to restore it to its former beauty once again.

Please consider making a donation in any amount to the Our Savior bricks and steps project.

OSL Calendar Updates
Do you have an activity or event that you want to share with your church family? The deadline for getting something into the weekly bulletin is every Tuesday by close of business. If you want something added to the Monthly Good News Newsletter Calendar, get a note to the church office as far in advanced as possible. You can also, send us a note via email, Facebook or Twitter.

Notice to All Members
All activities taking place in the church and/or involving our people, need to be added to the calendar in the office once the activity is planned. This way it will be possible to keep from having conflicting activities being planned and resources from being double booked. Before setting a date, you need to make sure there is no other activity already planned for the date you want. You may give the information to Jan Krapohl or Mary Broomfield to be written on the calendar or you may write it on there yourself. Thank you for your help in keeping our schedules running smoothly.

Christ Questions & Answers

If we all use the same Bible, why are there so many different denominations? What makes the Lutheran Church different than my other Church? What about evolution? I thought it a proven scientific fact? What can we know about the end of time? What about life issues: Infant Baptism, Divorce, Homosexuality, Abortion? Does God still speak to us today? Is His Word reliable? Is it relevant for the 21st century?

If these are questions that you have asked, then mark your calendar. Our next, new series of Fit For Life in Christ Bible Study classes will be starting soon.

Next class Start Date: January 10th, 2016

Fit For Life in Christ is a 10 to 12 week course that presents the Word of God in exciting and meaningful ways. It is a course for those who are interested in membership in our church, or for anyone who wants to know what it REALLY means to have a relationship with Jesus Christ.

You owe it to yourself and your life with God to register and bring a friend to this enlightening, faith-building opportunity!

Call the church office to register or for more information.
