We Welcome You

Have you been...

  • Looking for a church that will accept you?
  • Looking for a church that will care about you and your family?
  • Looking for meaning and hope for the challenges and problems you face everyday?

Now that you found us...

  • We’d like to introduce you to our Friend for life, our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. We would also like to introduce ourselves, your neighbors, who would like to be your friends for life.
  • We’re Christian men and women from different races and ethnic backgrounds who have been called together by God to be His children, and to serve Him and our neighbors.
  • We’ve been a part of the neighborhood for over 75 years, and we’re committed to telling everyone of the peace and hope that God offers to all people through His Son, Jesus Christ.
  • Our Lord Jesus is a Friend who stands by His brothers and sisters. He’s someone you can count on to be there for you in good times and bad times.
  • Forgiveness, eternal life, hope and a future are the gifts our Friend for life offers to everyone looking for a new beginning, and a life that is meaningful, satisfying and fulfilling.
  • Our Lord Jesus’ heart is open to you, and so are ours. Our doors are open to you and your family.

We offer...

  • Joyful Worship with a message that is uplifting and meaningful.
  • Bible Studies that are relevant to life today.
  • Christian Education for children and adults that equips them with the spiritual knowledge and ability to lead a God-pleasing life, and to handle the challenges they face at home, work, school and in the neighborhood.
  • A Chance to Serve your Lord with the spiritual gifts and physical skills God has given to you. We encourage and help our brothers and sisters to discover their gifts, and offer them the opportunity to use them in a variety of ministries.
  • In the future we seek to serve this neighborhood in more, new ways that make a difference for the children, youth, and adults living here. We value your ideas and your help.

Guidelines for Meditating on The Word: Choose an appropriate time and place to meditate in which there will be complete quiet. Pray to the Holy Spirit that He would enable you to understand what you read from the Bible. Read through the given passage of Scripture 3 times in one setting. Spend at least 10 minutes pondering what you read, then answer the following questions about the passage:

What do I learn about Jesus? What does God want me to believe or do? Write down your thoughts so that you do not forget them and can ponder them at a later time. Pray to God about the content of the passage.

Each day of the week, meditate on a phrase or sentence from the given passage. If possible memorize it.
